I created The Fricker Foundation to share with you the beauty that can be found in Second Life.
It all started back when I was searching for a nice romantic place to build my Second Life home and I became frustrated at the selection, cost and location of many places. So I did what any avatar would do with some extra lindens, I bought a SIM! Byte Island
I thought to myself, why not get an island and develop it for other to enjoy as well. So I built my home and a small romantic garden to build my SL life around. I designed it to have an inner lake for that feeling of the Colorado Mountains but surrounded by an ocean. The entire island has beautiful views and the Romantic Tree Garden is open to all SL residents to come and enjoy.
Some of the residents here have been on Byte Island since day one and I am glad that they have stayed so long. I am dedicated to providing Byte residents with lag free, beautiful, private and secluded estates with the beauty of natural surroundings and nature preserves. I recently added The Garden Shops on Byte Island for those that want a classy studio styled shop to sell their Second Life creations.
It’s my desire that residents whom chose to call Byte Island home will want to live and build their dream home in a secluded island getaway just as I did with peace, beauty, tranquility and Romance. Romance just happens on Byte Island.... it must be something in the water...
This is not mainland or anything like what you may have experienced with the mainland. Our land ownership is not controlled by Linden Labs and no additional tier fees need to be paid to them. The foundation works on Tier Fees which are paid directly to The Fricker Foundation. This allows us to provide our land to basic members as well as the premium members. Please read our covenant for details on the land tier fees and any regulations for land ownership.
I created the foundation not to be the largest land development company in SL, just the most livable and lovable for your avatar.
